Directory usage:

  • /srv/<app> static persistent applications data,
  • /var/lib/<app> dynamic persistent applications data,
  • /var/log/<app> applications logs,
  • /var/tmp/<app>> temporary files

Configuration:

  • no need manual configuration, machine is entirely under Puppet control.
