Just ran sugar-jhbuild on Jaunty.

apt-get install python-distutils-extra

Lucid

I had to install an more recent version of libnice (Lucid had 0.0.10 but the telepathy packages require 0.0.11) --Walter 11:32, 25 August 2010 (EDT)
