New page

Heya! My name is Manveer Singh Basra and I'm currently a participant in GCI 2015 with Sugar Labs. The reason I am participation in Google Code In is because I had a lot of fun doing it last year, and I'm thinking of studying computer science in the future, and this is a great opportunity to learn. I hope to become more accustomed to using GitHub because it is widely used. I also wish to learn what it's like to work for an open-source company such as Sugar Labs. The reason I chose Sugar Labs was because they had a wide choice of tasks, and I felt that I could benefit a lot from participation in GCI with Sugar Labs. Sugar Labs also uses GitHub a lot, and I wanted to learn this too. There were also many tasks that I knew how to do, so by doing these I would be able to further develop my skills with the mentors at Sugar Labs. Overall, I think I'll have an awesome experience at GCI this year!
