== Appointed vs self-selected committees ==
I noticed that at it was recently added (15 Aug 2017) that SLOB would appoint members to the election committee. I am not sure why that change was made. This procedure was suggested by Dave Crossland and with the configuration set, it fits our requirements for all Committee members to have write access to the Sugar Labs member's list.
