| colspan="2" style="border: 0; border-width: 0;" | Sugar on a Stick is a Fedora® Spin operating system featuring the award-winning Sugar Learning Platform.

Sugar on a Stick will run on
* any 64-bit Notebook, Laptop, or Desktop computer,  with a minimum of 1GB RAM, that can run Linux, Windows or macOS, using a USB thumbdrive or stick, as a Live USB,
* a 32-bit computer with the TOAST version of Sugar (Trisquel on a Sugar Toast).  See Trisquel On A Sugar Toast.
* a Raspberry Pi 2 or 3, using a microSD card<!-- it is not a Live system, but an installed system-->, or;
* any computer as a virtual machine.

You can use Sugar on a Stick to demo Sugar almost anywhere without disturbing the contents of the computer you use, and if people like what they see, you can install Sugar on a Stick to their hard drives or other sticks from the demo stick.

The download is a CD-ROM disc image .iso file (380 MiB), which could be burned to a blank CD, and booted as a LiveCD to demonstrate Sugar (while no work or changes will be saved after shutdown). When the image is loaded to a USB storage device, it can be used to boot a computer into the Sugar environment and save one's work on the USB key without touching the computer's hard disc.

Confirming a proper download
A SHA hash is used to determine if the file downloaded properly. The SHA1SUM hash only for the Strawberry release is:
41b08c93a65cc1e38286b9f8980f51528a36761d
You can check the SHA1SUM from the GNU/Linux shell:
sha1sum soas-strawberry.iso
If the hash matches the number above, then you can be reasonably sure that the file downloaded properly.
You can check out a video demonstrating the process here:

Latest experimental builds
Fedora and the Infinity design logo are trademarks of Red Hat, Inc.
Remember: These builds are alpha quality; that means unstable and likely to frustrate everyone but developers and development testers. A new image structure is currently in development and will be made available soon.
* The newest snapshot releases of Sugar on a Stick v2 are available from: http://download.sugarlabs.org/soas/snapshots/2/
* See the wiki for specific boot instructions.
