The pyroelectric sensor or Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensor is activated when you change the IR radiation that reaches it. It is powered by 12 V and connected to the mic input of a XO1. When the sensor is activated, the program emits a 1000 Hz tone and displays a photograph of the moving hot body that triggered the alarm.
