List of ideas Are all of these ideas rather than teaching/learning techniques? Is fun a powerful idea or a powerful learning tool? Curricula are idea-neutral, it depends on the currucula? Why are children in the list? May be OK but needs justification.
This list is implicitly priveleging problem solving over lower order recall. Ideas can be powerful but still at the bottom of Bloom's Taxonomy, basic reading skills, commutation and association in arethmetic.
Rather than trying to list the ideas, is it better to work out what their common features are?
