Tested in:

Trisquel 5.5 (Ubuntu 11.10)

sugar 0.94.1

To Update SN (in Trisquel/Ubuntu root terminal)

sweets-distribution status
sweets-distribution sync

Note:

clicking on the "(" moon icon will copy activity to ~/Activities, thus it will be accessible from f3 Home View.
If the "star" is set, it will appear in the favourites view of f3
Disable "(" Moon to remove it; unset "star" to remove from favourites view.

Caution:

Unsetting (un-coloring) the "star" will erase an activity from ~/Activities
ASLO.xo activities will not re-install in normal manner. This sugar feature is not implemented in version 0.4
(ASLO.xo activities have to be unzipped to ~/Activities to install them.)

Activities that do not start have been removed from On-line SN
