For performance reasons Sugar is using exclusively ''cjson'', a [http://www.json.org/ JSON] processing module written in C. Pyjson and Simplejson have been dropped. All the Fructose activities that use JSON to serialize data have been changed to use ''cjson'' as well.

Etoys 4.0 has been released. The major version jump signifies the end of their two-year relicensing effort. Now we are looking forward to see etoys packaged for distributions that the Sugar users can enjoy that great educational environment there as well.
