   mount --bind /var/run/dbus $CHROOT/var/run/dbus

   sudo mount --bind /var/run/dbus $CHROOT/var/run/dbus

before entering the chroot. (Mock uses unshare() to enter a new mount-point namespace since this makes garbage collection of mountpoints much easier.)
