Sunjammer

Info

This is our development and community shell server, also running a.sl.o and a few second-tier web services. Sunjammer is a XEN domU running on [cloud9.fsf.org].

Location

Hosted by the Free Software Foundation at the Global NAPs collocation facility.

Network configuration

100mbit global IPv4, behind FSF's firewall
100mbit global IPv6, using 6to4
1GbE crosslink to Machine/treehouse

Backups

Live incremental backup of all filesystems pulled daily by Machine/treehouse over the crosslink gigabit ethernet with rsync.

The latest backup can be retrieved from these locations:

treehouse.sugarlabs.org:/backup/sunjammer/root/
treehouse.sugarlabs.org:/backup/sunjammer/srv/

We keep 7 days of history in .backup/[1-7]/ using hardlinks.

We also perform a daily system-remote-backup to Machine/backup, encrypted with GPG keys of User:bernie and User:dfarning.
