Install Mageia-2-alpha3-i586-DVD.iso

Boot Live CD

Use Live Installer (Drakelive-install)

Use whole Disk

Choose Gnome
Boots to Login Screen Gnome is default
GNOME 3.3.5 (after updates) see below

Update Mageia

Magia Control Center (Drakconf.real)
Configure media sources for install and update

Click Add

Apply

(Task-sugar 0.95.1 will not install due to missing dependencies)

Exit Magia Control Center

Workaround for task sugar

Enter terminal

su
password
'urpmi task-sugar --allow-force
installs 64 rpms

start sugar-emulator with: Applications/Education/Sugar
Drag sugar ICON from favorites to desktop

properties sugar-emulator -f (full screen)

NO browser is a problem.

the applications Browse and Surf-115 have missing dependencies (see above) and do not start.

Firefox-6.xo works if installed

But does not save to the sugar-journal as it is not properly "sugarized" (integrated into sugar)
