+ Added: You need to create a New User in user manager and log out and log in to this New user. Then you can start sugar with a connection. When you log out you are returned to Full Fedora Gnome desktop without need to reboot.
(if you never log in to Fedora after installing Sugar Package, Sugar boots and connects properly.) It becomes a SOAS2 system.

The BUG of loosing the network manager does not seem to appear in a real installation of sugar in F11b. May be due to problems with the live image on the SD card install of both.

++I did a net install on a hp e-pc (wired connection 1200 celeron )following the same procedure: Fedora 11 beta + sugar Desktop. This works very well and I just did a chat with ASH in Europe while connected to my EeePC on a USB Soas-Beta.

++the Hp e-pc was wired, the EeePC was wireless on my network on an apple airport extreeme plus presence service hit the net. All 3 could connect and chat.

The BUG of loosing the network manager does not seem to appear in a real installation of sugar in F11b. May be due to problems with using the live user account on the SD card with the sugar desktop and wireless network manager
