+ Added: You need to create a New User in user manager and log out and log in to this New user. Then you can start sugar with a connection. When you log out you are returned to Full Fedora Gnome desktop without need to reboot.

++I did a net install on a hp e-pc following the same procedure: Fedora 11 beta + sugar Desktop. This works very well and I just did a chat with ASH in Europe while connected to my EeePC on a USB Soas-Beta. It Works.

The BUG of loosing the network manager does not seem to appear in a real installation of sugar in F11b. May be due to problems with the live image on the SD card install of both.

2GB USB made with Fedora-USB-Creator(Windows and Fedora 11 version)with 609 Persistence file.

Reboot/ select sugar on Fedora control bar login. F1 Connect/ (Fedora 10.92/ 0.84.2 Sugar.|

  • IF you use save to keychain on logon to Gnome you will not be able will not connect to wireless connection in sugar. (Is there any way to disconnect the pop up for ?usr/bin/nm-applet?)
