Activities that you install in GNOME Terminal are not automatically made favourites, and so do not appear in the home view.  Use the List View to mark them as favourites.

Workaround: install the sugar-session package, for Sugar 0.90 on Ubuntu 11.04.4:

*Ubuntu terminal:

  sudo apt-get install sugar-session-0.90

  sudo su

Installs a large number of activities.

apt-get install sugar-session-0.90
