As of 2021, Sugar Labs Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in the state of New Jersey of the United States of America; its EIN is 84-3289298.
Sugar Labs was formerly a member project of the Software Freedom Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, but has become an independent entity.
