Mixed terminology

This page mixes terms; writing bootable removable media should not be referred to as installation. Use the word install for fixed hard drives or solid state drives that are built into a computer.

This page is too long and intimidating!

We should restructure this to a simple hub page that provides graphical links to the separate installation instruction pages that are specific to the operating system or hardware and unencumbered by irrelevant information.
