: Thanks. I do still think all of the custom cursors should be removed, though. While they're cute, it's disorienting to have the cursor triple in size when mousing over parts of the page. The cursors make sense when running in Sugar, but not on the wiki. [[User:Fran Rogers|Fran Rogers]] 17:13, 20 July 2010 (EDT)

Custom cursors in vector.css

I've done 2 things,

  • commented out the custom text cursor, which was the worst offender for Chrome Windows in not reading the cursor hotspot.
the hotspots are read in Firefox and IE Windows.
  • enabled user .css and .js, so you may over-ride any features you choose in User:<name>/<skin>.css or .js

Is the mis-calibration of hotspots the problem, or do you also believe the cursors should change in Sugar itself? --FGrose 15:36, 20 July 2010 (EDT)

Thanks. I do still think all of the custom cursors should be removed, though. While they're cute, it's disorienting to have the cursor triple in size when mousing over parts of the page. The cursors make sense when running in Sugar, but not on the wiki. Fran Rogers 17:13, 20 July 2010 (EDT)
