GSoC/DMP/SSoC

  • We have less than a week to submit out list to Google. Walter requests feedback from the mentors
  • Sumit thas prepared 10 issues/themes for DMP
  • We'll be giving Google feedback on the impact of AI on our org.
  • We had 268 proposals in 2025, 386 in 2026 -- an increase of 44%
  • We had 115 in 2024, when AI was just starting to noticeably kick in.

AWS

  • Krish (MostlyK) has started working towards the plan we decided on last meet, Ibiam is also onboard with the plan. Some things are left so maybe we can let the GSoC mentee deploy after the remaining details are ironed out but for now the necessary changes are made along with next steps for deployment.
