While I would love to see some of the newer contributors join the ranks of our oversight board, I also think it is important to have some continuity -- to help ground Sugar Labs to the pedagogy that motivated its founding in 2008. I continue to learn as a member of this learning organization and, while some family issues have precluded my full engagement over the past few months, things are looking up for 2026/2027. | |||
I will focus on supporting and expanding the opportunities we provide for mentorship; more outreach -- perhaps the first ever Sugar/Music Blocks "DemoScene"; and help move our technical stack into the 2020s. | |||
