Thanks.  The problem varies in impact depending on several factors to do with hardware.  Either your hardware doesn't reproduce the problem, or it is fixed in Fedora 25.  I'm inclining toward the former.  To be sure, could you try a Fedora 24 SoaS on the same hardware and see if the problem occurs?  Write activity uses Abiword underneath.  When the problem affects Write, it also affects Abiword.  Abiword can be persuaded to make the problem worse, using `--gtk-debug=updates` option.  Read linked bugs above for more details if you need them.  --[[User:Quozl|Quozl]] ([[User talk:Quozl|talk]]) 23:22, 6 July 2016 (EDT)
