Sugar Network clients can be used from local applications. Local applications have extra features, such as launch software by one click, or, seamless Journal integration. There are several distribution options:

* Install Sugar from the [[Sweets Distribution]] [[Platform_Team/Sweets_Distribution/Factory|Factory]] repository and [[Platform_Team/Sweets_Distribution/Factory/Features#Sugar_Network_integration|enable]] Sugar Network integration in the Sugar Shell;

* Install Sugar from the [[Platform_Team/Sweets_Distribution/0.94:SugarNetwork|0.94:SugarNetwork]] repository in [[Sweets Distribution]] and [[Platform_Team/Sweets_Distribution/Factory/Features#Sugar_Network_integration|enable]] Sugar Network integration in the Sugar Shell;

* On XO laptops, use [[Deployment_Platform/XO_reference_distribution#Try_reference_implementation|one of reference images]]. Note that images might be outdated, to make them up-to-date, update system packages right after flashing;
