EFI Boot
- MacBook i7 with option key on boot
- finds USB EFI
dropping to a debug shell: sh: can't access tty; job control turned off dracut:/#
- Looks like new grub-EFI may be included on live builds
- Proposing as NTH for F16 Final (10/11/2011) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=735023
- This may mean that a f 16 Soas Live USB would boot on a EFI (Mac) computer.
Notes on EFI boot from USB
- Fedora 16 RC
- Only Present in f16 RC Netinstall and DVD.
- Does not work on live CD's

- Alternate D/L:
- Note "liveinst" command does not install to HD correctly.
- Installs 2 1 MiB partitions the first is not formatted second is labeled. Does not boot
- This is fixed in f16 nightly 2011016.20 tested here.
