We have scheduled a field trip to Massachusetts to visit some technology sites and learn and work with people there.

I'm thinking that our rough schedule might start to look like this (adjustments or additional suggestions welcome):
* Dave Farning could make (perhaps less expensive roundtrip) flights to & from Rochester or fly to Boston and return with us to Rochester to stay with me for a couple of days to visit RIT and meet the available faculty.
===Monday 10 August===
* Rochester area folks would take a 1 or 2 cars (depending on the number joining from Rochester) and proceed to hostel site.
* Drive to Boston
* Adam Holt may drive back with us to Rochester.
* Check in to Hostel, http://bostonhostel.org/about.shtml
* Maybe dinner out with Mel Chua, if available, learn the Metro, etc.
===Tuesday 11 August===
* 10 am - Visit MIT Museum, http://web.mit.edu/museum/
* 1 pm - lunch on or near campus
* 2 pm - Review field trip plans and schedule
* 2:30 pm - Conference room session, "What we've learned as OLPC/Sugar Labs students about working in the FLOSS environment as RIT students, co-ops, and associates" (a small group session, with Mel Chua as sole guest beyond the 6 in our group)
