It would be great to have speech reco integrated into Sugar and this proposal covers much of the back-end. However, there is a gap between the ability to recognize commands and having Sugar execute upon those commands. I am particularly worried about the Sugar views, which don't yet have support for keyboard short cuts in part because they are using a non-standard graphics framework. I hope that the project doesn't get rendered obsolete because of this current deficiency in Sugar itself. --[[User:Walter|Walter]] 12:05, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
