Sugar on a Stick can work on a Mac if you boot with the boot helper.
Right now you have to burn your stick on a PC or Linux machine: [[http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_on_a_Stick/Installation | Windows Instructions]]

# Turn on the Mac
# At the Chime press command-c1
The mac should boot first from the CD then from the USB.  As of 4/12 this is experimental. Let us know what results you get.
