AWS update

• SugarAI is built in mind so that different activities which plan on using online versions of AI services (like LLM responses), have a centralized place for deployment. SugarAI helps manage API keys and it's distributions. (https://github.com/sugarlabs/sugar-ai)
• We managed to increase our service quota for G instances from 0 to 16. This means we now have the required compute to go ahead and deploy SugarAI (which will be used by a bunch of activities).
• There is a concern of running out of these credits. ("that's better than not using them")

GSoC+DMP report

• The GSoC mid-term evaluations were last week. Everyone is on track.
• This week are the DMP mid-term presentations. Each DMP intern is doing a presentation in front of external mentors.
• We also sent feedback to our SSoC contributor.

Sugar Systems

• We tried to change DNS to CloudFlare, ran into issues that were causing sugarlabs.org to be inaccessible, so we reverted to our previous status quo.
• As of right now, our wiki and MB server (both hosted on Sunjammer) seem to be working.

• Sugar Labs should participate in some way:
  • We could have a booth or propose a session or run a workshop.
  • It might be fun to have a session of FOSS and learning with Claudia and Cynthia Solomon
  • Devin and Walter could do a MB workshop
